The Flip UltraHD is an easy-to-use, compact and very-portable camcorder that works quite well for casual video capturing by novice users. More experienced users who require more technological upgrades however, will likely find the Flip UltraHD lacking in additional features such as varying light adaptability and optical image stabilization. Video quality is decent in this model provided you have adequate light available. Audio quality is also acceptable assuming you are not dealing with too much wind or ambient noise. Ease of use and the fact that it can operate with 2 standard AA batteries when the standard rechargeable battery pack runs out are what sells the Flip UltraHD well. It is generally a great buy for the right user and the right purpose. |
